The Zoom client may sometimes prompt for a "manual update" when trying to join a meeting.

If this message shows up, it can often be self-resolved. To fix this, please do the following:
1. Fully quit the Zoom app. On Windows, right-click the icon in the windows task bar, then select "exit". On MacOS, click the app name in the top bar and select "quit"

2. Open the Settings app on your computer, then navigate to the Apps section, and then Installed Apps if available:

3. Find the Zoom entry, then click the menu option to uninstall it:

4. follow the prompts to fully un-install the Zoom app, and remove settings if possible.
5. Download the new updated version from this link: Zoom Download.

6. After downloading, make sure to run the installer and follow all prompts to "continue", "accept", or "allow" the program to install fully.

7. Once the installation completes, you should be able to join your meeting or start hosting new ones. If you require any further assistance, please reach out to ChampSupport.
