Information
Mole is a VPN for students to access certain software licensing and remote capabilities to complete coursework while away from Champlain's main campus. The steps below outline the process to download the access client program, install it, and connect to the VPN.
Download & Install
Navigate to https://mole.champlain.edu in a web browser. Once at the main login page, click the "Sign in with SAML" button to begin the login process. 
Next, click the "Sign in with Google" prompt at the Champlain SSO screen. Be sure to use your first.last@mymail.champlain.edu email address.
After signing in, you'll be brought to the OpenVPN Access Server homepage. Here, it will list the recommended installer file for your device. Please click this top option, or select a different platform below if necessary,
After clicking download, you may be prompted for another username/password. Please enter your Champlain username & password, excluding the @mymail.champlain.edu ending.
If prompted, save the file installation file.
On windows, you may encounter an error about SmartScreen. Click "more info" then "Run Anyway" to allow the install to continue.
Next, continue with the install process, clicking "next" and "accept" where prompted:
VPN Connection
Once the install process completes, open the OpenVPN Connect app. It may automatically open following installation.
Upon first launch, you'll be greeted with an OpenVPN Data Collection, Use, and Retention agreement. You must read and agree to the terms to continue:
After the agreement, you'll see the profile for mole.champlain.edu listed, along with your account name and [bundled] since it came with the installer pre-prepared. Click the toggle switch to connect to the Mole VPN:
While starting the connection, you will see a pop-up message and a browser window to confirm your authentication. Please make sure you have a browser window open with your Champlain account signed in to properly authenticate. You can also copy the URL in the window shown on-screen, then paste it into your browser where your Champlain account is currently logged in:
Once authenticated, the toggle switch will turn green to indicate a successful connection! To disconnect, simply click the same toggle switch again.
