Panopto: How to add a link to an existing video folder in Course Hub

There are times when an instructor may want to share a Panopto video folder with multiple course sections or to connect an existing Panopto video folder from a previous term with a course section.

Steps to connect an existing Panopto folder with one or more Course Hub sections

1. Complete the steps in "How to add a video folder resource from Course Hub" for one section listing in Course Hub. For example, start with Section A. 
2. Once the Section A Panopto folder is created, click the link to folder on Course Hub to launch the Panopto webpage.
3. In your web browser address bar, look for the web address for the folder. Notice the long string of letters and numbers at the end of the link. This is the Panopto Folder ID. It is the string of numbers dentified after the equal sign [=] in double quotes.
    
   NOTE: In some cases, your web browser may encode the double quotes denoting the Folder ID as %22. It should look something like this in its complete form:

   %22 encoded double quotes: https://midd.hosted.panopto.com/Panopto/Pages/Sessions/List.aspx#folderID=%22XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX%22
4. Copy the folder ID.
5. Return to Course Hub to repeat the steps for adding a Panopto resource.
6. Locate the class section that you want to link the same Panopto folder to. For example, Section B.
7. Click +Resource.
8. Click Panopto Resource.
9. Paste the Panopto folder ID into the field on the resource form that says Connect to an existing Panopto folder by ID.
10. Click Save. Students in both Sections A and B (and any others these steps are applied to) will gain Viewer access to videos hosted in this folder.
