Connect the laptop to the monitor via USB-C cable:

  1. Plug a USB-C cable into the USB-C port on the left side of the laptop.

    • Note: the 2nd USB-C port from the screen tends to work better.

  2. Connect the other end to the USB-C port on the monitor.

    • Ensure it's the correct port – refer to the picture above.

To add a second monitor:

  1. Use a DisplayPort cable to connect the ThinkVision monitor to a second monitor.

    • The DisplayPort cable is to the right of the USB-C cable – refer to the picture above.

    • This allows the second monitor to extend or mirror your display.

  2. Make sure all connections are secure for proper functionality.

Navigate the Menu

Five buttons are arranged in a row horizontally

The display settings buttons can be a bit tricky to navigate. There are five buttons, arranged from left to right as such:

  1. Return arrow – Exits the menu.
  2. Up arrow – Navigates up and also opens Port Settings.
  3. Down arrow – Navigates down and also opens Monitor Controls (Brightness & Contrast).
  4. Menu/Select – Opens the settings menu and acts as the Select button.
  5. Power – Powers the monitor on or off.

Use the Up and Down arrows to navigate, and press Menu/Select to choose an option.
