Steps to view a passcode protected Zoom recording in Canvas

  1. Login to Middlebury Canvas, then navigate to the course that the cloud recording is associated with.
  2. Click Zoom in the course level navigation menu.
  3. Next, click the Cloud Recordings tab.
  4. Identify the cloud recording you want to view by recording date and click on the meeting title under the Topic column.
  5. In the recording details view click once on the small video player icon indicated by the circle with a triangle in order to reveal the passcode field.
  6. To reveal the passcode, click the eyeball icon next to the passcode field.
  7. To copy the passcode to your clipboard click the copy passcode icon indicated by two overlapping squares next to the passcode field.
  8. Click the small video player icon indicated by the circle with a triangle again.
  9. A new browser tab will open that reads "Enter the passcode to watch [title of video]". Paste the passcode you just copied into the designated passcode field.
  10. Click the Watch Recording button.
