How to Register a Passkey

Important Notes

  • To avoid setup complications:

    • Use a Windows device

    • Do not use a private/incognito browser

 

  1. Visit the Microsoft security info page for your account (go/mfasetup/). 

  2. On the Security Info page, click + Add sign-in method.

  1. Choose Passkey in Microsoft Authenticator.

  2. If you do not have the Microsoft Authenticator, click "Add it now" and download Microsoft Authenticator app to your mobile device

  3. Continue through the instructions in the prompts to setup Passkey
