How to find a journal article

Option 1

If you know the name of the journal in which the article was published. From the library’s homepage click on “Find Books, Articles & More” from the left hand menu.

If you know the name of the journal the article was printed in click “Find eJournals” from the left hand menu.

Then click “Find eJournals by title”

Search for the journal title or browse using the A-Z links.

Review your search results which will include which databases the journal is available in and the years the library has access to through each database.

Select a database with access for the year your article was printed and sign in using your Champlain College credentials.

Once in the database choose the volume and issue in which the article was printed.

Review the article titles for that issue, selecting the article you are searching for.

OPTION 2

If you do not know the name of the journal in which the article was published.

From the library homepage, click “Search books, articles, and more” below the search box.

Enter the title of the article in the search box. Placing quotations around the title will help narrow your search results.

It is best to narrow your search results by choosing items available to Champlain College Library. To do this click the Champlain College Library box on the left hand side of the screen.

Review your search results for the correct article.
