ImageNow: Creating/Updating a Connection Profile

*Ensure that your computer is either connected via cable, to the “champlain" wireless network, or your VPN is connected (if you are not on campus).

Symptoms

If you are trying to open Perceptive Content and encounter an error message stating “The network connection to the ImageNow Server has been disconnected”, it may be necessary to rebuild your connection profile via the instructions in this article.

Alternatively, if you have just installed or re-installed ImageNow, you may have to build this connection profile.

 

Instructions

  1. Start Perceptive Content (ImageNow)
  2. DO NOT log in
  3. Click << Connection Profiles (upper left)


     
  4. Click Edit Connection Profiles
  5. Delete any current Profiles
  6. Click Create
  7. Name – INow Champlain
  8. Server = ImageNowApp.champlain.edu
  9. Server Type = Production
  10. Port = 6000
  11. Select Remember Last Successful username.
    The Profile Screen should look like this:

     
  12. Click OK
  13. You will be returned to the main log-in screen, where any valid username/password will work.
