Canvas is SMC’S Learning Management System (LMS), and is accessed via a link from the mySMC portal home page. At a minimum, the syllabus for each course is uploaded to Canvas. Many faculty members also choose to use more features, many of which focus around adaptive and collaborative learning, including online quizzes, discussion boards, gradebooks, and much more.
