Navigating to Class Rosters in BannerWeb

This article is for instructors who need to find their class rosters.

  1. Log into BannerWeb at http://go.middlebury.edu/ssbsso/ using your Middlebury username and password.

  2. Click on the Faculty Services tab.

  3. Click on the 'Term Selection' link which appears at the top of the page.  This step is very important.  If the right term is not chosen, or a term is not set, you will not find your class roster information.

  4. Select the desired term and press 'Submit'.  Middlebury undergraduate terms do not include a 'MIIS' at the end of the description. Picture of selecting the correct term for class roster lookup

  6. Enter a CRN OR a subject, course number and section number on the next page and press the 'Get Roster' button.  Make sure you have the correct course number or CRN for the term you selected.

  7. If there are no students in the class, or the CRN (or subject, course number and section number) does not exist for the term you selected, the following error will appear. No Student Enrolled message is displayed in the image

  8. If students are enrolled in the course, the following page will appear after pressing the 'Get Roster' button.

  9. From here, you can search for the rosters of other classes you teach using the 'Enter CRN' (or Subject, Course Number, Section Number) box(es), or download the class roster to a spreadsheet if needed.  If you want to look at another term's courses, click on the Faculty Services tab at the top of the screen, and follow the instructions starting at Step 3.
