Background
Middlebury's Google Workspace for Education account includes access to Google Gemini, Google's artificial intelligence (AI) model.
Gemini can be accessed by visiting https://gemini.google.com/ and signing in with your Middlebury credentials. Middlebury does not license the advanced Gemini features which include Gemini functionality within Google Drive and other Google apps.
Gemini can be used to create text, translate text, analyse various data and media types and summarize content.
Google Gemini Data Privacy
Google offers advanced privacy protections for education customers, which include the following:
- Google doesn't use your content to train AI models.
- Google doesn't allow human review of AI interactions for education customers.
