What is this service?
Adobe Creative Cloud is a suite of applications used for graphic design, video editing, web development, advanced PDF creation, photo editing, and other creative work.
Middlebury provides Adobe tools to support teaching, learning, creativity, and professional productivity across the institution.
Adobe applications are available for use on lab computers across campus.
Available Adobe services include:
-Adobe Express
-Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Sign (faculty and staff only)

Who is eligible for this service?
This is a limited license.
This service does NOT include summer programs (Language Schools, Bread Loaf School of English, etc.) and Schools Abroad. However, Middlebury-managed public use computers on the Vermont and California campuses may have device-licensed Adobe software installed.
How do I get this software?
Adobe Express is provided to faculty, staff, and students. You must sign in with your Middlebury credentials. If you do not yet have an Adobe Express license, click on the link to the right to Get Adobe Express.
Instructors may assign Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Cloud via the Course Hub. Individuals may also request a license using the button on the right side of this page. Once a license is assigned, Creative Cloud apps can be download via the Adobe Creative Cloud portal. You must sign in with your Middlebury credentials. Please see How to Install Adobe Products for instructions.
Licensing for Creative Cloud may be revoked at the end of a course and/or end of the academic year, and all software licensing may be subject to cleanup efforts to manage resources wisely. You may submit a renewed request if needed and you are still eligible.
Assigning Adobe licenses via the Course Hub
Instructors can assign Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Cloud licenses to the students in their classes by adding a "Software License Resource" in the Course Hub.
- Go to courses.middlebury.edu and log in
- Click the + Add Resource button for one of your sections
- Select Software License from the list of available resources
- Select Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Cloud and provide optional extra instructions to students if desired, then click Save.
You will then see the resource displayed in that class's Course Hub site:
This Resource will automatically grant licenses to students at the start of the term or within about an hour if the term has already begun. These licenses will be automatically revoked 2 weeks after the end of the term.
