What Is This Service?
The best place to borrow media equipment is the Circulation Desk at the Davis Family Library. There’s a wide selection of equipment that’s maintained regularly and available 7 days a week. Check the Middlebury Library Catalog for a list of equipment that we loan out. Loaner equipment that is available in the catalog, can be self-booked. See the Library’s borrowing guidelines.
Requests for loaner equipment not available through the Library should be made at least 5 business days in advance by submitting a quick ticket here (alternatively, you may email helpdesk@middlebury.edu or call (802) 443-2200, but the ticket gets your request in the queue faster).
- Requests will be honored on a first-in/first-out basis.
- Equipment that can be hand-carried may be picked up and returned at the Circulation Desk at the Main Library by the borrower.
- Facilities Services will deliver large items, such as video monitors on stands. Arrangements for equipment pickup will be made during request processing. Media Services will coordinate delivery with Facilities Services.
