What is this service?
Axiom is a Reporting and Analytics tool used for selected financial and HR data. It is populated by data from Oracle Finance and HCM, in the form of nightly imports, or manual uploads of CSV/Excel files. Various reports have been created in the system, and new reports are introduced from time to time based on user need/request. In addition to reporting in the Axiom system itself, it can also be used to distribute reports, as in monthly budget vs. actual reports that are distributed to department managers via Sharepoint.
(Note: Axiom Reporting & Analytics is a product of Syntellis, and is a different software that has absolutely no relation to Axiom Mentor, a faculty-facing software from Sitero that Middlebury also uses)
Who is eligible for this service?
The system is primarily used by Budget, Finance, and HR staff, and a small group of financial leads ("Superusers") from various functional areas throughout Middlebury. In addition to these direct users, a larger group of managers and budget leads receive monthly reporting generated from the system.
