Wired Network Connectivity and Jack Activation

What Is This Service?

Middlebury has a wired network infrastructure which extends to the majority of buildings and rooms on campus. There are more potential network jacks on campus than available infrastructure to provide network connectivity, so many network jacks are not active and activation must be requested.

In most locations, the wireless network will meet all standard connectivity needs.

Who Is Eligible For This Service?

Middlebury faculty, staff or students may request that a network jack be activated in their dorm room, office or another location.
