Tips for Faster Support Resolution

To help CampusPress assist you as quickly as possible, please include the following information in your email:

  1. Meaningful Subject: Use a descriptive subject line that summarizes your request.
    • Good Example: “Single posts displaying content with the wrong font.”
    • Bad Example: “Need help with content.”
  2. Detailed Description: Provide a clear and thorough explanation of the issue. This saves time and minimizes back-and-forth communication. Providing any extra context you think might be useful can help us troubleshoot. For instance, if you've already tested the issue on different devices or browsers, let us know.
  3. Page URL: Always include the URL of your site or the specific page where the issue occurs. If the problem is on multiple pages, include URLs for each one.
  4. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: Outline the steps needed to reproduce the issue. This helps the  support team diagnose your problem effectively.
  5. Screenshots: Attach screenshots of the issue whenever possible. A full-screen capture can help us see relevant details that might not be immediately obvious.
  6. Device and Browser Information: Include details about the device and browser you’re using (OS, browser type, version, screen size). Some issues can be device-specific, so this information is crucial. You can use a service like the following to capture that info: https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/

By following these tips, you can help CampusPress and ITS resolve your support requests faster and more efficiently.
