How do I create a Canvas site for my course?

Before you start, make sure you have logged into Middlebury’s instance of Canvas at least once at https://middlebury.instructure.com/ 

  1. Navigate to Course Hub and login using your Middlebury credentials. 
  2. Click My Terms.
  3. Select the academic term for your course.
  4. Click your course title.
  5. Click the + Resource button under the course listing.
  6. Choose Canvas as the resource to add..
  7. Leave the Canvas settings as is or add custom configuration settings for that tool using the fields provided.
  8. Click Save.
