The Search component can be used to add a search box and results to let users search your site, or just a portion of your site using Google Custom Search Engine. This needs to be set up ahead of time by ITS using a special account so that we can turn off advertising, so please contact us to request this feature if you would like to use it. In your request, please include:
- The URLs you would like to be included in search results. If you want your entire site included, a link to your site's homepage and a note to include all pages is sufficient.
- Whether you would like the results to be displayed below the search box or on a separate page. Please include the URL of the page in the latter case.
In most cases, we will only include pages containing "middlebury.edu" in their URL in search results.
