What is this service?
ArcGIS StoryMaps is a web-based story-authoring application that allows you to easily integrate maps alongside narrative text and other multimedia content. You do not have to include geographical maps in your story, but the platform seamlessly integrates with ESRI’s other ArcGIS platforms, including ArcGIS Online and Survey123.
Who is eligible for this service?
Any individual with Middlebury single-sign-on credentials has access.
How do I learn about this service?
ArcGIS has a great introduction page that covers how to plan out your story, how to craft your narrative, and how to design and share your final story. You can also look at inspirational examples on the gallery page.
How do I get access to StoryMaps?
- Go to ArcGIS StoryMaps at https://storymaps.arcgis.com/
- Click “Sign In”
- Choose “Your ArcGIS organization’s URL is” and enter “Middlebury” in the editable field, then click “Continue”
- Click the “Middlebury” button
