How do I find my Microsoft Outlook version information?

Instructions to find the version of Microsoft Outlook you use.

Review the version history for Microsoft Office 365 for Windows or Mac to see if your version is current or not. 

 

Windows (PC)

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Select the File tab. 

  3. Depending on your version, the instructions may be different:

    • Outlook (Classic):

      1. Select the Office Account tab at the bottom left.

      2. Look at the Version under About Outlook.

    • "New" Outlook:

      1. From the drop-down, select About Outlook

      2. Look at the Microsoft Outlook Version.

 

Mac

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. On the top menu bar, select Outlook > About Outlook.

  3. Look at the Version.
