How do I find my Microsoft Outlook version information?

Here's how to find the version of Microsoft Outlook you use:

Find Outlook version on a Windows PC

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click the File tab, then choose either Office Account.
  • For newer versions of Outlook 365 without a File tab, click the gear icon at top right.  Click General in the left-hand panel, then click About Outlook in the central list; your version info will be displayed.
  • For older versions of Outlook, open the Help menu then choose About Microsoft Office Outlook.

Find Outlook version on a Mac

  1. Launch Outlook.
  2. Click on the menu labeled Outlook (next to the apple logo in top left corner of the screen).
  3. Click About Outlook.
