This article explains how to log on to Zoom at Middlebury using Single Sign On (SSO) on a web browser or using the Zoom client app.  All Middlebury faculty, staff, and students are licensed to use this service.

NOTE: In order to have full functionality in Zoom, you must have the application installed on your device—the web client has limited features. See Install Zoom below for instructions.

Visit go/zoomdownload/.
	 
	- 
	
Download the correct version for your operating system:
	
		- 
		
Windows
		
			- 
			
Open Settings.
			 
			- 
			
Click System.
			 
			- 
			
Select About (scroll all the way down to see this tab).
			 
			- 
			
Under Device specifications, look at the System type:
			
				- 
				
If it reads 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, choose Download (64-bit). 
				 
				- 
				
If it reads 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processor, choose Download (ARM64).  
				 
			
			 
		
		 
		- 
		
Mac
		
			- 
			
Click the Apple icon in the very top left corner of your computer screen and select About This Mac.
			 
			- 
			
Look at the Chip / Processor:
			
				- 
				
If the name includes Intel, choose Download for Intel. 
				 
				- 
				
If it reads Apple M# (e.g. M1, M2, etc.), choose Download for Apple Silicon.
				 
			
			 
		
		 
	
	 
	- 
	
Run the download and follow the instructions to install.
	 
 
	- 
	
Open the Zoom application. 
	 
	- 
	
Select the SSO option on the initial sign in page.
	 

	- 
	
Provide middlebury as the domain.
	
	 
	- 
	
You will then be prompted to sign in with your full Middlebury email address (username@middlebury.edu) and account password.
	 
 
	- 
	
Visit go/zoom/.
	 
	- 
	
Click the SIGN IN button in the top right corner.
	
	
	 
	- Provide your full Middlebury email address (username@middlebury.edu) and account password if prompted.
